Our Process
Our process is Agile, methodical and efficient. We design powerful database applications. We deliver quickly. We keep costs down.
Training
WebDB applications are intuitive and easy to use. They usually automate familiar tasks with which your staff/clients/suppliers are well acquainted. We include tooltips, written instructions and intuitive design to prevent confusion. However, we do offer training for staff as part of our projects. Most of the training involves familiarizing users with the automated features of the application. Our trainers walk your staff through a hands-on tour of the site, showing them all the features that will make their daily tasks simpler and more efficient.

Support
In the first week of using a new web application, users often call us for guidance. We can often walk them through the task in 5 minutes over the phone. As they get used to the new program, users usually master the application and discover new uses that we hadn't anticipated. Soon they become wizards and rarely call us for support. Thus far, we have never had to spend exorbitant amounts of time supporting an application. Consequently, we have never charged any client for support at any time in the last 8 years

Alternative Methodologies
We can use prototyping to help the client determine exactly the sort of WebDB that is required. Often when the client sees a prototype, it becomes easier for them to articulate their requirements.
We also can use Agile project methodology where we proceed by breaking up the project into small manageable modules. We can present the project to you one piece at a time and get your feedback as we go. This is helpful when the project requirements are still evolving.

1
Analysis
In the initial free meeting (or teleconference) we will ask questions and listen as you describe your needs. A WebDB Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will start mapping out the functionality and features that you require. We will also determine questions about mobile deployment, user access, required security and content management. The purpose of the initial meeting is to fully understand your needs in all their detail. You will not be charged for this meeting.
2
Quote and Design
WebDB will provide you with a detailed quote with a fixed price and a firm timeline. It will include all the pages, features, functions and details of the project. WebDB spends a considerable amount of time and effort preparing quotes. It is a collaboration between our BSA and our developers. We consider the quote the first blueprint for the project. You should examine the quoted specifications very carefully to ensure that they include all the functionality that you need. We will revise the quote, as many times as needed to ensure that you are satisfied.
3
Deployment
WebDB prides itself on launching online applications on (and often before) the promised delivery date. Our applications are rigorously tested before we hand it off to our client. As part of the timeline, the client has the opportunity to test the site and ensure that the site is done to specifications before the public launch. We guarantee that any bugs or errors will be fixed immediately. We will launch the site as per your requirements and be there to support you throughout this process
WebDB Guarnatee
If you request a fixed quote prior to sign-off, you will receive it. You will never be charged any extra money for the specified work. WebDB will fix any bugs or errors in the program promptly and free of charge. Projects will be delivered on time. The web application is guaranteed forever and we will provide support as web technology changes.
